Springfield: City On the Grow is a documentary from approximately the 1940s or 1950s about Springfield's bright future. It discusses the fact that Springfield was considered one of the 400 fastest growing cities in the country due to the prominence of Springfield galoshes as well as the new Springfield Aqua-Cars factory. It also discusses the celebrities like Professor Rubbermouth who come from Springfield. Sadly, the town lost its affluence in the decades since.
