The Springfield Convention Center is a major events venue in the town of Springfield, hosting large conventions, trade shows, conferences, and similar events.
According to the episode Lisa's Wedding, Springfield Mayor Joe Quimby officially opened the center. The Springfield Convention Center once caught on fire after a riot broke out during a science fiction convention.
