The Springfield Funeral Home is a funeral parlor in Springfield.
History[]
When Sideshow Bob faked his death, his coffin was sent there. Bob and his entire family's scheme to lure an empathetic Bart to the home and trap him in a coffin was successfully foiled by the Springfield Police.[1]
Mona Simpson's funeral was held there. Only Homer, Grampa and Mona's friends, Seth, Mason Fairbanks and Munchie, attended. Abe wore tap shoes to the proceedings, originally thinking that he'd be happy to dance on his wife's grave, but it wasn't so.[2]
When Ned Flanders was recording his cable TV show, he mentioned the historic locations in Springfield he was going to visit. One of them was the Garden of Talking Statues at the funeral home.
