Springfield Heights Institute of Technology (S.H.I.T.), is a learning institution in Springfield.
Apu studied and got his PhD here. After getting his PhD, he worked at the Kwik-E-Mart to pay off the debt he had during his college years.
When Bender traveled back in time, Lisa took him there to meet Professor Frink, because he couldn't remember his mission. Later, Frink, Professor Farnsworth and Lisa discovered that the creatures destroying New New York had both Marge and Homer's DNA.
