  • Originally, Whistler's Father was slated to be the season premiere before the this episode's title was announced. Ironically, this episode would later be replaced with The Serfsons as the actual season premiere. The reason why the premiere was rescheduled is unknown.
  • It is later mentioned that this episode would be the second episode of Season 29 instead of the third, again for an unknown reason.
  • This is the last episode to feature Stan Lee as it was made before his death on November 12, 2018.
  • This episode reunites Yeardley Smith and Martin Short, who once provide the voice of Cecilia and Stubbs the Clown from the 1993 animated movie We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story.
