Stephen Jay Gould is a famous paleontologist who has an office at the Springfield Natural History Museum. When Springfield's residents were convinced that they had found the skeleton of an angel, Lisa Simpson recruited him to perform a test that would prove it was not an angel. Gould claimed the test was inconclusive, but in reality did not perform the test at all.
