Steve Allen (December 26, 1921 - October 30, 2000) was an American actor, comedian and TV host.
History[]
Bleeding Gums Murphy once appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show when Steve Allen was hosting it. Murphy tried to demonstrate his ability with the saxophone, but Allen ignored him and advertised his book.
Krusty was mentioned to have copied Allen's crank call routine for The Krusty the Clown Show, and it was later imitated by Gabbo on The Gabbo Show.
