Steve Martin is an American actor and comedian who voiced Ray Patterson in The Simpsons.
Aside from this, Steve Martin was also referenced in Homie the Clown, where Krusty's secretary calls in and tells him that Steve Martin's calling on line 4 for what is implied to be a lawsuit due to Krusty yelling "Well, EXCUUUUUUUUSE Me!!!" to George Carlin seconds earlier regarding a similar lawsuit involving the "Seven Words You Can't Say on TV" skit.
