Susan is among Evelyn Peters' friends and a member of the Springfield Glen Country Club. She is more snobbish and rude even than most of the rest of the Country Club's frequenters. She notes that she feels suspicious that multiple honey companies are actually selling the same product.
She holds a clear antagonism with Marge Simpson. When Roberta makes a comment about changing suits in a card game, she remarks, "I thought that perhaps changing suits had gone out of fashion, eh, Marge?" referencing her continuous wearing of one suit throughout her visits to the Country Club. Later, when Marge promised that she would wear bells, Susan asked where she would put bells on "that mangled Chanel suit". She later hopes that Marge didn't take her "attempt to destroy her" too seriously.
