Susan (pronounced Soo-cin) is among Evelyn Peters' friends and a member of the Springfield Glen Country Club. She is more snobbish and rude even than most of the rest of the Country Club's frequenters. She notes that she feels suspicious that multiple honey companies are actually selling the same product.
She holds a clear antagonism with Marge Simpson. When Roberta makes a comment about changing suits in a card game, she remarks, "I thought that perhaps changing suits had gone out of fashion, eh, Marge?" referencing her continuous wearing of one suit throughout her visits to the Country Club. Later, when Marge promised that she would wear bells, Susan asked where she would put bells on "that mangled Chanel suit". When the Simpsons didn't show up at the party (which turns out to be their initiation), she hopes that Marge didn't take her "attempt to destroy her" too seriously.
In "Days of Wine and D'oh'ses", it is revealed that she is a member of AA.
