Susan Lynn "Suze" Orman (born June 5, 1951) is an American author, financial advisor, motivational speaker, and television host.

Orman was born in Chicago and undertook a degree in social work. She worked as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch, became the vice-president of investments at Prudential Bache Securities in 1983, and founded the Suze Orman Financial Group in 1987. Her program, The Suze Orman Show, aired on CNBC from 2002 to 2015, when it ended and Orman decided to develop "Suze Orman's Money Wars". She had won a Gracie Award for Outstanding Program Host on The Suze Orman Show in 2006. She has written several books on the topic of personal finance.

In February 2007, Orman came out as a lesbian, and has been married to Kathy Travis for 7 years. She has also guest starred on lots of talk shows, and starred as herself in films as well.

In The Simpsons, she has voiced herself in the Season 28 episode "The Caper Chase."
