Name Change[]

The name of this article is "Fit" Tony's wife, but her only appearance is in The Real Housewives of "Fat" Tony.

The reason for this is found in the Donnie Fatso episode. In it, Fat Tony dies. He is replaced by Fit Tony -- who gains weight, and is then called Fit Fat Tony -- and ultimately Fat Tony, "for short."

Consequently, in every episode after the Donnie Fatso episode, Fat Tony is really (Fit) Fat Tony. So, since The Real Housewives of Fat Tony was after the Donnie Fatso episode, an editor named this article "Fit Tony's wife".

Calling her "Fit Tony's wife" almost suggests that they made a mistake in naming the episode, The Real Housewives of "Fat" Tony. -- Fit Tony (talk) 19:22, November 4, 2014 (UTC)

Mind blown Dennison5210 (talk) 19:42, November 4, 2014 (UTC)

I don't get this argument, everyone and their mother call him Fat Tony ever since, noone calls him Fit Tony, so calling her "Fit Tony's Wife" makes no sense to me LetsPlayNintendoITA 00:30, 17 October 2025 (UTC)

Connie[]

She is called Connie in the episode "Cremains of the Day" and so I'm going to rename article Connie D'Amico. Ardilaun (talk) 18:32, 15 October 2025 (UTC)

The move on this page is restricted to administrators only, so there is no way to rename it back, as it doesn't fit this according to script from Simpsons World. It doesn't matter she was called Connie from "Cremains of the Day," so I shall leave it to others here to discuss this further. 40 Prince P. Jamie (ContribsGuestbook) 19:36, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
This was already discussed and agreed to go with Connie and unsure why Jamie is just ignoring community consensus.
Script and dialogue in subsequent episodes isn't a new and episode content is suppose to precedence. Final draft script for "The Crepes of Wrath" has Principal Skinner's mother has her first name as Gloria[1] and in "The Telltale Head" has Police Chief Wiggum was Abner[2].
"The restriction of admin-only editing is something you did which are against the rules and guidelines since being an administrator isn't to be used in content dispute nor used protection to stop edit disputes. You shouldn't be make a declaration since why doesn't it matter her being named in aired episode not matter since it matters a lot? Is "I shall leave it to others here to discuss this further" just code for "I'm going to ignore your points" since I am making this point and that, according to the rules, should be enough? Ardilaun (talk) 19:52, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
Why didn't you take this " I shall leave it to others here to discuss this further" before you unliterally made this changes especially as there already community discussion and consensus on this exact same topic?
You just make a statement and an untrue statement at that. I figured since the reasons for the renaming are wrong on the facts and wrong on the Wiki rules so it will be fine for me to rename the article to earlier name of Connie D'Amico.Ardilaun (talk)
Is there another "Simpsons World" printing since "Simpsons World" was released in 2010 and is for Seasons 1 through 20 while "The Real Housewives of Fat Tony" at issue is from Season 22 and first aired in 2011?Ardilaun (talk) 12:44, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
Have a hunch User:TheWarriorBeast890 won't bother providing an answer for this simple question about his citation to a book on seasons 1 through 20 published in 2010 for a season 22 episode first aired in 2011, but hope I'm wrong. I'll take it as a good faith error as my other hunch is somebody else told him this and he toke it for granted that it was real which fair enough and understandable, but doesn't make it any less inaccurate. As the citation to Simpsons World can't be real, will be renaming it back to Connie D'Amico without objection. Ardilaun (talk) 22:44, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
One thing I don't get is, we've countless pages saying "also known as _insert name here_" can't we do that here too? LetsPlayNintendoITA 00:34, 17 October 2025 (UTC)

Nobody except one contributor who made these changes against the community consensus reached here a long time ago is concerned if this article does or doesn't match up exactly with another fan wiki and that isn't a reason (or I guess it isn't a good reason) for how to make policy guidelines. Wouldn't it be better to match up with citations that people reading the article can easily verify such as dialogue in episodes rather than publicly unavailable data from Disney+ or Simpsons World which went offline 6 years ago. Won't the admin simply remove the protection statue and it just be moved back to Connie as the article title with Angela in the behind the scenes section or we just agree with User:TheWarriorBeast890's newest dictate that what is said in episodes doesn't matter so Mrs. Skinner is now renamed Gloria, Police Chief Wiggum is renamed Abner, Marge's mom is renamed Ingrid, Homer's mom is renamed Penelope, etc...? Ardilaun (talk) 23:36, 17 October 2025 (UTC)

DISENGAGE alert. On the real Wikipedia another contributor withdraws from the Talk Page, it's taken as conceding the point and so I am moving the article name back to Connie for all the already stated reasons. Ardilaun (talk) 15:04, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
Same answer as above from LetsPlayNintendoITA and I have nothing to say about this. 40 Prince P. Jamie (ContribsGuestbook) 21:24, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
Why are so opaque and vague? That's not remotely a good-faith response. You do understand how wiki work, no? People can and do dispute content. It's not a volitation requiring administrative response of the rules to do so. You last statement isn't even accurate. You have something to say as you wrote that dialogue in aired after Simpsons Word went offline doesn't count and never explained how that doesn't go against the policy of this website? Ardilaun (talk) 21:33, 25 October 2025 (UTC)

Rereading your comments, you're fine with moving back to Connie so please remove the protection (you never address why you violating the admin guidelines by putting it in). Ardilaun (talk) 21:46, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
