mistaken air date reported yesterday[]
I have global set to record Simpsons only on 'first run' since I'm sure I've seen them all, but strangely last night this ep recorded and the guide actually listed "Original air date: 27-AUG-20".
Anyone seen that kind of thing happen before with other episodes?
Couple explanations come to mind:
- 1) Global usually co-airs episodes episodes with Fox, possibly they missed it due to some special event and this reflects Global finally getting around to it too
- 2) possibly when it first aired they forgot to circulate an episode summary, so now is when they finally aired it with a proper summary
- 3) some kind of small edit was made to the summary, which caused the OAD to automatically update to whenever the summary was altered. I'm pretty sure I've actually seen that happen before for other cartoons like Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese.
