Ned Flander's Age is 60 from the episode Viva Ned Flanders, yet the character sidebar quotes his age at 65? Binarymax 13:35, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- How can he be 60 when, in "Hurricane Neddy", we get a flashback to 30 years earlier and he's still a child?
- The more recent episodes are considered to be canon over the older episodes--Smiley12 was here at 04:41, June 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, it's very likely that Dr. Foster was mistaken when he said 30 years, as Ned's parents were of the Beatnik community (The Beatniks were from the 1950s, and were the predecessors of the Hippie movement in the 1960s). Weedle McHairybug 10:55, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

- In "Walking Big & Tall" (season 26, ep. 13, broadcast Feb 8, 2015), it's made explicit that Ned is around the same age as Homer and Marge. In the opening scene, captioned "30 Years Ago", Ned is seen as a child sitting in the yard with his parents as young Homer walks past with Abe and young Marge gets out of a car with her family. 7%-10% of the population is left-handed. Looking at a list of Springfielders and the short list of customers who visit the Leftorium, it seems like the proportion of southpaws in Springfield is consistent. Discuss? 216.164.2.177 00:03, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Ned Flanders may seem clean cut, but the goody-goody neighbor of The Simpsons has some DARK SECRETS. He's been married three times (to Maude Flanders, Edna Krabappel, and Ginger Flanders), hides his old age of sixty, and buried his wife's beloved ficus plant. But, these aren't even the dark secrets we're referring to. There are several other secrets that Matt Groening wants to hide from residents of Springfield and viewers of the show. I'm going to come back here daily, and when I do, I will add more details, and expect more secrets here.
