• The title reference is to a Season 16 episode of The Simpsons "The Seven-Beer Snitch", and the 1955 romantic comedy film The Seven Year Itch.

• In a recurring joke, the dart Lily throws in order to decide where to go in the United States does not land on a state, but is blown by the wind landing on a Springfield flyer.
• The agreement form Marge holds up has ZABF15, which is this episode's production code written on it.
• Homer breaks the fourth wall when he raises and lowers the split screen of his window cell in the call's split screen.
• This episode was rated TV-PG, but it was TV-14 on Hulu. The reason for the rating change is unknown.
• As Homer scrolls on his phone, the old Simpson family from the Ullman shorts could be seen.
• Leonardo DiCaprio appears to own a Tesla, even though it seems to be a Ferrari-esque supercar rather than an electric sedan.
