The Big Bang Theory couch gag is the twelfth couch gag of Season 28. It was used in the episode "Looking for Mr. Goodbart".
Plot
The Fox logo is shown on a black background, which then explodes, segueing to a pan through space, followed by a sequence of pictures from several Simpsons episodes. This is followed by a HD remake of the normal couch gag from "The Call of the Simpsons", but halfway through, the couch disappears, causing the Simpsons to land on the floor.

- This couch gag is a parody on the theme song for The Big Bang Theory.
- On the timeline at the bottom of the screen, every hundredth episode is labeled as an important date. These would be Episode 1, Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire, Episode 100, Sweet Seymour Skinner's Baadasssss Song, Episode 200, Trash of the Titans, Episode 300, Barting Over, Episode 400, You Kent Always Say What You Want, Episode 500, At Long Last Leave, and Episode 600, Treehouse of Horror XXVII.
- The title for The Tracey Ullman Show is seen, when the lyrics mention FOX airing a TV show.
- Many episodes are mentioned in the lyrics to the song, including Bart trying to sell his soul from Bart Sells His Soul, Lisa turning to vegetables from Lisa the Vegetarian, Grandpa fighting bulls from Million-Dollar Abie, and Springfield building a wall and The Who playing on the top from A Tale of Two Springfields.
