== Synopsis ==
 
[[Bart]] is watching TV but then [[Homer]] tells Bart to do his chores. Bart tries to hide in the toy box but [[Lisa]] is hiding in there. So Bart hides in the closet but it is locked and Bart gets nervous. Bart then sees [[Maggie]] and he tries to get Maggie to put the key in the door however Maggie gives up. After a few hours Bart is able to open the door but he finds a note saying his family went out for a round of frosty chocolate milkshakes and Bart simply put it down the letter and goes back to hiding in the closet.

The Closet is the twenty-third Simpsons short and originally aired on The Tracey Ullman Show on February 21, 1988.

Plot

Bart is watching TV, but then Homer starts to call his name. Bart realizes he has to do chores so he tries to hide in the toy box but Lisa is hiding in there. Then Bart hides in the closet but he realizes he can't get out because the door is locked. Bart sees Maggie and he tells Maggie to "do what I'd do if I were in your place" so Maggie goes to watch T.V. After a while, Bart finally gives up and rams the door open, admitting that he'll do chores.  However, he finds a note saying his family went out for frosty chocolate milkshakes and that they couldn't find him around the house.
