"The Complete Fourth Season" was released on June 15, 2004 in North America, August 2, 2004 in the UK and August 25, 2004 in Australia. It contains all 22 episodes from the fourth season.

The box art theme is several citizens of Springfield invading The Simpsons' couch. The spine features Homer and Krusty on the outer casing, and Lisa and Grampa on the inner casing.

The menus feature a different character who does a gag whenever a selection is made.

Edits

  • "Marge Gets a Job": When Bart forced to take his make-up test, Mrs. Krabappel mentions that he had previously faked having "that unfortunate bout of Tourette's syndrome". For the second airing and this DVD release, this part of the line is replaced with "rabies".
