The Joker is a DC Comics villain, who has also appeared in other media.
The Joker, or a person in costume as him, stood in line to get Grampa's inheritance from Beatrice Simmons.[1]
When Springfield Elementary School was shut down, a man resembling the Joker sat in the bus driver seat for Arkham Elementary School for the Criminally Insane's school bus, which exploded before any students were moved there.[2]
Mr. Burns listed him as an example of a villain and made a shadow puppet of him in his song "High to Be Loathed".[3]
Carl was paid off by Smithers to dress up as the Joker to humor the elderly Mr. Burns' attempts to fight crime as Fruit Bat Man.[4]

Behind the Laughter[]
Although Joker himself never appears in "Krusty Gets Busted", he is given an indirect reference by Reverend Lovejoy, where he refers to Krusty during his sermon as the "Clown Prince of Corruption", a play on Joker's nickname of the "Clown Prince of Crime".
