The Simpsons Shorts- The Krusty The Clown Show

The Krusty the Clown Show is the thirty-fifth Simpsons short and originally aired on The Tracey Ullman Show on January 15, 1989.

Plot[]

Bart, Lisa, and Maggie go to see The Krusty the Clown Show live. When they walk in the studio, Bart complains about where "a genius like Krusty" is working. Then as the show starts, Bart thinks Krusty is a fake. When Krusty is talking to the audience and Bart's turn comes up, he asks "who the hell are you?" so the clown replies that he is Krusty, Then Bart says that he is an imposter and rip his fake nose, telling the kids that they are being duped. Then "Krusty" starts strangling Bart and says, "Why you little..." to him in a voice similar to Homer's. At the Simpson's home, Homer and Marge are watching the show on TV looking disappointed.

Trivia[]

  • In this short, it is implied that Krusty the Clown is actually Homer, due to Krusty's real voice being like Homer's, and Homer saying "D'oh" while watching the show on TV later on. This was actually confirmed by Matt Groening himself.[1] This was scrapped later on due to it being "too complicated".
