The "Fake Lisa Simpson" is an actress who went onto a stage show as Lisa Simpson.
History[]
The Simpsons get their own spin-off, "The Simpson Family Smile-Time Variety Hour" which Lisa refused to participate in and thus replaced by this attractive older model.[1]
Behind the Laughter[]
- The segment is a parody of The Brady Bunch Hour, an infamous short-lived spin-off of the 1970s sitcom, considered one of the worst shows of all time. The replacement of Lisa in the third segment with another girl reflects the recasting of Jan Brady in The Brady Bunch Hour when Eve Plumb couldn't participate.
- Her cameo in "Viva Ned Flanders" was pointed out in the commentary.
- An image from the spin-off show in "The Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase" was seen in the couch gag for "Looking for Mr. Goodbart".
