  • The Springfield Skypark-Line project was built on top of the Springfield Monorail from "Marge vs. the Monorail," which is a callback to said episode. Several characters also chant the word "monorail" in a way that references the song from the aforementioned episode.

Goofs

  • The title provided by W9 is The Mayor is Beautiful, however, the title displayed in the episode is The Mayor is Blue. This title is the most appropriate since the term blue is also used in the original title.
  • John Galt was not in The Fountainhead, he was actually in the Atlas Shrugged.
