The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror 15 is the fifteenth issue of the Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Horror comic book series. It was released on September 2009.
Stories[]
Cloud 13[]
The Simpsons are visiting a psychologist, because all of them are having recurring nightmares about trying to get to the couch.
The psychologist, who is an alien, says that the dreams are normal. Then, the family goes home and is killed by zombie versions of themselves, with their couch buried.
The Call of Vegulu[]
Mr. Burns loses his fortune and decides to go green. Meanwhile, Bart, Lisa, and Milhouse are infiltrating his now-abandoned mansion.
There, they find a disturbed man who used to be Burns' accountant. He reveals that Mr. Burns went green a while back, but did so in mad ways and ended up tearing a hole in reality, letting in beings called the "Ancient Vegulans".
Then, the ex-accountant brings Milhouse through the hole, and when Bart looks after Milhouse, which turns him into an environmentalist blogger. Milhouse then comes back, but he vomits up plants and dies. Then, Krusty announces over the radio that humanity is dying out.
Bart runs to confront Krusty, who tells him that "Vegulu" must take over, and he also vomits up plants, one of which ensnares Bart. Then, he reveals that he and Burns are servants of Vegulu, who turns out to be a large plant monster.
Lisa attacks the monster, but then ends up in an office building, where it turns out that the whole thing was just a simulation cooked up by Burns to market organic food.
Blurst Again[]
Bart is "smoking" a bubble pipe, which causes lumps to grow on his head, which then explode, and then his whole head explodes.
Mo' Bodies Moe Problems[]
Moe is frustrated because no women come to his bar. Gil comes over, and delivers a bag, which turns out to have a dead woman in it. Moe gets nervous about being a possible accessory to murder, and then Gil tries to kill him. Nelson, who was spying on Moe in case he had the opportunity to laugh at somebody, falls from the ceiling, making Gil fall on the knife and bleed.
Moe and Nelson then use the dead woman, plus some other body parts from dead people, to build Moe a companion. They succeed, and she becomes the new barmaid. She also marries him, albeit finding him ugly and having to put up Brad Pitt posters in order to put up with him. The posters attract women to the bar.
The Gods Must Be Lazy![]
A lazy, overweight god is playing chess with humans, and uses Homer and Bart lookalikes. They're fishing, and the god (Portilus Maximus) causes tsunami monsters to attack.
Poseidon then moves the ancient Homer and Bart to an island, then Portilus Maximus drops an onion ring into the island, which comes alive and angrily chases the Simpson guys. Portilus Maximus accidentally drops sauce from a burger onto the onion ring, subduing it.
The ancient Homer and Bart are chased by pickle people into a cave, which turns out to be Portilus Maximus's mouth.
C.H.U.M.[]
Hans Moleman is working in the sewers, and gets hit with some toxic waste that Homer flushed down a toilet at work. This turns him into a monster, and he eats Nelson from the manhole. Milhouse is about to go trick-or-treating, but then the Moleman monster eats him, too.
He then goes into a bush, and Rod and Todd hear him from their house and mistake him for God. They come out to meet him, and just as they're realising he's not God, they get eaten. Ned then realises his sons are missing when it's their bedtime.
Ralph is already asleep, when the Moleman monster enters. The Wiggum men mistake him for Sarah, and the three of them go to the playground together, where they intercept with Ned, who's looking for his sons.
Then, the Wiggums discover the severed heads of the Flanders brothers in a box, and they, plus the Moleman monster, go to a restaurant, where Blinky is served as food and Milhouse's head is mounted on the wall.
Boo-tleg[]
Apu and Sanjay have been selling bootleg products, and Lisa has become a full vegan and started using pieces of Barney's skin as paper to save wood. Lisa and Marge have also decided to give up sugar, meaning they won't have candy for Halloween.
Homer and Bart buy some candy from the Kwik-E-Mart, but it turns out to be so bootlegged that it kills them. Apu decides that to avoid being arrested for murder, he will have the same factory that made the poison candy make copies of the Simpson guys. Despite looking and acting differently, Marge is fooled.
The next morning, it turns out that Frink, Skinner, Sherri, Terri, Groundskeeper Willie, the Flanders brothers, Otto, and Krusty also died from the poison candy, so Apu has bootlegs made of them as well. Sanjay is dubious, but Apu is cocky that he and his brother will not get in trouble. However, Lou busts in, so Apu poisons him with the candy.
Later, even more people have been replaced with bootlegs, and Lisa is suspicious but Marge does not care. Marge and her daughters go to the Kwik-E-Mart and Apu poisons Marge and Lisa as well, then trades Maggie on the black market for some Family Guy T-shirts.
Comic Book Guy comes home from a month-long convention and is outraged at the sight of the bootlegs. He is about to report them to the authorities, but "Homer" and "Bart" shoot him while hunting for dogs.
Bad Milhouse[]
Kirk gives Milhouse some coloured pens as a birthday present, which he plans to use to write fanfiction of a Harry Potter pastiche called Larry Snotter. He goes for a ride on his tricycle, making Nelson and his friends tease him for being a "baby".
Milhouse cries, making him accidentally run over one of the Mackleberry twins, killing her. To avoid trouble, he kills the other one by knocking her out with the seat of the trike.
He goes home and tells Kirk, who has Milhouse live in a secret lair in the walls. Wiggum comes over because Milhouse wrote a note admitting that he killed the twins, then Milhouse opens the door to the lair, accidentally hitting Kirk and killing him as well.
The Simpsons move into Kirk's old house, and then Ned Flanders comes over with a pie. However, when he sees Milhouse (who is now dirty and ragged), he mistakes him for the Devil and dies of shock.
When Homer and Marge go out and leave Grampa and Nelson in charge of the kids, they discover Milhouse in his story. Thus, Milhouse is arrested, but for copyright violation instead of manslaughter or murder.
The Slipsons[]
Wiggum breaks into the Simpson house to clean, and he discovers Bart and Lisa's severed heads on sticks. Then, Homer turns into a cockroach, and Marge turns into a bomb.
Ned Flanders takes off his glasses to reveal he has no eyes.
