Stories[]

The Simpsons au Naturel![]

Homer runs home excitedly for pork chops, but gets home to find none. Marge reveals that she hasn't served dinner yet lest Homer get distracted from the family meeting to discuss the next week's vacation. Lisa reveals that she chose the location (a camp called Back 2 Nature) as a prize for getting straight As, and Homer is supposed to have paid, but doesn't admit that he spent all the money betting on a monkey/tiger fight.

He goes to the travel agency and offers $50, but that is not enough money. Gil Gunderson offers to help by sending the Simpsons to a different camp with a similar-sounding name: Camp Au Naturel.

At the camp, a greeter named Lindsay Naegle takes the Simpsons on a hike to the main campsite, which Bart and Homer hate. She then has them take a shower, and when they get out, she strips naked, revealing the camp to be a nudist resort.

She reveals that their clothes are being washed and they may not put them back on until after a welcoming picnic, which Martin and Dr. Hibbert are attending. Homer enjoys an ambrosia salad and a beer, the female Simpsons try the pool, and Bart talks to Martin.

Homer accidentally puts a poison ivy leaf on his crotch to play Adam, mistaking it for a fig leaf. Dr. Hibbert says that Homer just needs to make sure the area gets fresh air, causing him to declare he loves being naked and even wants to work naked, much to the chagrin of Marge, Bart, and Lisa. Then, Patty and Selma arrive, revealing that they went there to "window shop" and smoke. The site of them naked horrifies Homer.

A week later, the Simpsons are back home, and Lindsay Naegle comes and arranges a stay at Back 2 Nature to compensate for the trouble. Meanwhile, Homer is dressing in layers to try to erase the image of the naked Patty and Selma from his mind.

Down in the Dumps[]

Bart cannot find one of his toys (a Radioactive Man accessory). Marge complains that he made a mess after she'd just finished cleaning, so he surmises that she accidentally threw it out and runs after the garbage truck. He cannot catch it, so he, Milhouse, and Martin try to pool their money to buy a replacement but the stores are sold out.

Kent Brockman then reveals that the reason the toys are rare these days is because there has been a recall on them due to lead paint. Bart then decides to get the original accessory back from the dump, much to the other boys' dread.

At the dump, Bart discovers his family's trash, but the toy is not there. Then, the boys meet a whole group of tattered people who live in the dump and eat dog-sized rats (which Bart previously thought were a myth). One of them reveals that they're malcontents living in the dump by choice. When Bart reveals that he and the others are looking for a toy, the man reveals that there is rumoured to be a pile of various things such as toys, comic books, and furniture that goes back years at the dump.

The boys run off excitedly, but after several hours, do not find the things. Then, some seagulls poop on them, causing them to run off and make a "garbage landslide". The landslide uncovers a tunnel, which leads to the pile of treasures. However, when the boys reach it, they find that the Comic Book Guy has followed them there. They argue over who gets how much of the treasure, and then Martin accidentally burns it up by shooting a toy ray gun next to a methane vent.

Back at home, Bart explains what happened to Marge and the girls, then Homer enters and gives the toy back, revealing that he had accidentally pocketed it. Unfortunately for Bart, Marge reveals that she threw away the action figure that the accessory belonged to due to hearing about the recall, and Bart is too shaken by his experience with garbage to fish it out of the garbage.

Chili Chili Bang Bang[]

There is a yearly chilli festival in Springfield, and Homer and Wiggum have a rivalry over whose chilli is the spiciest. Wiggum wins, then Snake steals the admission money. Wiggum, feeling confident after his win, chases Snake, but he trips over a spork, Sherri and Terri's marbles, and some fat spilled by Luigi, causing the festival-goers to laugh at him.

That evening, Wiggum is unhappy that he was laughed at, and he has only leftover chilli for dinner as Sarah assumed he would be full and didn't cook any. While Wiggum eats, Ralph tells him a story about Wiggle Puppy, but Wiggum finds the chilli too spicy. He washes his mouth out in the shower, where Wiggle Puppy arrives and sends him down the drain.

In the drain, there is another dimension that leads to a sewer. There, Wiggum asks Wiggle Puppy what The Matrix was about, since Wiggle Puppy claims to be an all-knowing spirit animal. Then, Wiggum climbs a ladder, which leads to a surreal version of Springfield, where Wiggle Puppy says that Wiggum feels "small and helpless" in the face of crime.

Then, a giant Snake appears, and Wiggle Puppy says he must face his fears and fight him. Wiggum initially refuses, but then gets furious starts trying to shoot him when the giant Snake threatens to destroy all of Springfield's donuts. The giant Snake is immune to bullets, so Wiggum catapults himself at the giant Snake with his pants, knocking him unconscious.

Then, it is revealed that Wiggum was just seeing things, and had in fact knocked down the Lard Land statue. Eddie and Lou return him to Sarah and Ralph, and Wiggum tells the story to Ralph. Then, Eddie and Lou eat the chilli, which makes them also hallucinate Wiggle Puppy.
