Stories[]
Snow Dad[]
Bart Simpson wakes up Homer Simpson for work, and Homer is launched, car and all, into a tree due to the snow ramp Bart had Milhouse Van Houten make. Homer grounds Bart, and to add insult to injury, the rest of the Simpsons go to attend a hot chocolate festival.
Ned Flanders is left in charge of Bart, who builds a snowman shaped like Homer and throws snowballs at it to vent his frustration. One of the snowballs hits Frink, who accidentally zaps the snowman with his "hydro-animator". This brings the snowman to life, since its purpose is to make water sentient, and Bart names him Snowmer.
Bart and Snowmer have fun playing, and when Homer, Marge, and the girls come home, Bart boasts that he's "replaced" Homer with Snowmer. This makes Homer jealous, so Marge suggests making another attempt at bonding with Bart. Homer tries, but Bart doesn't let him in, since he is doing a live reading of a Batman movie with an actor, Janey Powell, Ralph Wiggum, and Snowmer.
Homer gets revenge on Bart by tracking down Frink and borrowing the hydro-animator to build a snow son that resembles Bart. He names the boy Snowmer Junior, but he is ornery, so Homer tries to strangle him and accidentally decapitates him. Barney Gumble accidentally destroys Snowmer Junior's head with a plow, so Homer rebuilds him.
Homer boasts that he and Snowmer Junior are playing hockey, but Bart boasts that he and Snowmer are playing pinball with a machine made of ice. Then, Homer takes the wheels off Bart's skateboard and has Snowmer Junior skate impressively, but Bart has Snowmer build a snow statue of his head over the Flanders house. This makes both Simpson men argue over whose snowman is better, causing the snowmen to call them "jerks" and turn on them.
The snowmen pelt the Simpson guys with snowballs, so Homer and Bart decide that they have been jerks and apologise to the snowmen. The snowmen forgive them, so the Simpson guys invite them inside for ice cream. However, the snowmen melt, so Homer and Bart put them into two of Marge's canning jars. The four of them watch TV together, and when Marge asks who made the puddles on the carpet, Homer blames Santa's Little Helper.
The Radioactive Man Christmas Special[]
Comic Book Guy receives a Radioactive Man DVD and goes to watch it while talking to himself about its history. He reveals that the movie did not do well, and its copies were in fact destroyed for being so bad, so he wants to watch it to determine exactly how bad it is.
The movie begins with Radioactive Man and his friends having a holiday party, when they have an "intruder", who turns out to be Fallout Boy, breaking the "no sidekicks" rule. A man named Joe follows Fallout Boy in, then everyone gets their photo taken, but the photographer turns out to be Dr. Crab in disguise.
He reveals that the "camera" was actually an anti-joy ray, that sapped them of their ability to feel happiness, which led to them losing their powers. Dr. Crab then takes the heroes to his lair in handcuffs, where Santa (played by Krusty the Clown, who isn't really committing to his role) is locked up. Thankfully, Fallout Boy wills himself to become happy again, which gives him the strength to bust free and destroy the anti-joy ray.
The movie ends, and Comic Book Guy includes that it is his favourite holiday special, but in a "so bad it's good" way.
The Heist Before Christmas[]
Homer, at work, eats a gingerbread replica of the power plant that was the winner of a competition, then Smithers tells him it is time to leave. Homer realises that a Hanukkah special is coming up on TV and tries to hurry home to watch it, but crashes into Fat Tony's car. As such, Homer now owes Tony a favour.
Fat Tony takes Homer to his club, where he tells him, Skinner, Duffman, and Snake that he will make them a team so they can all pay off their debts at once. Tony explains that something of his was stolen by another mobster, Don Henley, and he wants the other four men to get it back from his mansion, where there is a Christmas party.
Skinner plans how to enter the mansion, when Snake asks him why he owes Fat Tony. Skinner reveals that two weeks ago, Superintendent Chalmers offered to cancel the gingerbread power plant building tradition due to financial woes and lack of interest, so Fat Tony offered Skinner some ingredients.
In the present, the men dress as butlers and enter the mansion, but when Homer yells at a man not to spoil the Hanukkah special, Henley and the guests get offended. Duffman (who is revealed to be indebted to Fat Tony because the latter knows that he drank Fudd beer) distracts the guests by taking off his suit jacket to reveal his Duffman outfit.
Snake (who, as it turns out, owes Fat Tony because the latter freed him from prison) steals a set of keys from Henley's pocket and throws them at Skinner. He tries to unlock the door to the place where Fat Tony's stolen briefcase is, but does not know which key is correct. The guards show up, so Skinner yells at Homer to distract them.
Homer steals cookies from the kitchen, which works, but not intentionally. Thus, Homer and Skinner steal the briefcase and return it to Fat Tony, who reveals that inside is a Radioactive Man action figure, which he wanted to buy for his son Michael.
A Cold Day in Springfield[]
There has been a blizzard, which excites Bart and Homer, but concerns Marge, who reveals that it happened due to climate change from a nuclear accident. She makes Homer and the kids stay inside and do chores, which makes Bart sulky. Milhouse invites him over and Bart rhetorically asks, "How am I supposed to get there? Dig my way over?".
He then decides to do just that, and when he arrives, Luann Van Houten asks the boys to go shopping. They agree to it, with Bart making her pay, and he gets the idea of making more people pay for the boys' services. They go to the Kwik-E-Mart, where Apu Nahasapeemapetilon lets them deliver groceries to people.
Bart then enlists the help of Nelson Muntz, Ralph, Jimbo Jones, and Dolph Starbeam for 10% of the profits. Bart and Ralph deliver (expired) milk to the Flanderses, Nelson delivers beer to Moe's Tavern, Dolph delivers groceries to the retirement home, Milhouse delivers things to the Skinners, and Jimbo delivers a sandwich to Krusty.
Mayor Quimby and Chief Wiggum are in a hot tub, when some of Quimby's employees reveal that the boys are making a huge profit. This makes Wiggum and Quimby jealous, so Wiggum takes over the tunnels. Bart decides to get revenge and he goes to the power plant in hopes of ending the snow, since it's what caused it.
Bart successfully melts the snow and starts a taxi service with rowboats.
Trivia[]
- Homer references "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" by asking Bart if he can join in his and Snowmer's "reindeer games".
- According to Bart, Homer once tried to repair the toaster with a fork and was in a coma for two weeks.
- When the snowmen melt, Snowmer Junior yells, "Oh, what a world!", which references what the Wicked Witch of the West said when she melted in The Wizard of Oz.
- Comic Book Guy mentions that the Lost finale was negatively-received. He later mentions that it makes the "Ewok Christmas Special" (actually called the Star Wars Holiday Special look like Citizen Kane).
- Henley mentions the song "Let it Snow".
