Cultural References[]
- When Bart tells Lisa that no one likes Kenny G and mentions they killed Kennys A through F, this is a reference to South Park.
- Lisa mentions to Monk Murphy that his father wrote a song for him called "Monk's New Tune" and starts to sing along to the song on her iPhone, sung by Bleeding Gums Murphy: "Before I was saved by my better half I once disappeared in a black and white photograph..." This is the opening of the song "Monk's New Tune" by smooth jazz legend, Michael Franks (from his album 'Dragonfly Summer,' 1993), itself a reference to jazz musician Thelonius Monk.
- "Everything+" is a parody of Disney+, mentioning in the ad featuring all cartoons with objectionable content edited out. This is also in reference to Disney+ editing films and television series containing objectionable content and warning viewers of outdated and offensive references prior to streaming content.
