Tracy Letts is an American actor, playwright, and screenwriter. He makes his first and only appearance in "Desperately Seeking Lisa."
He was voiced by the actor of the same name.
History[]
Lisa met Tracy Letts at a performance of his play "Roach." When his father was mistreating Gregor Samsa's character, Lisa intervened to stop the performance from continuing. Letts shared that he wrote the play and portrayed the enormous shoe that steps on the cockroach in act three. He then told Lisa that she was the very first person to step in and save the cockroach, proving that she was one of the most sensitive and artistically attuned individuals he had ever encountered. Letts then encouraged the audience to give Lisa a round of applause.
Backstage, Julian told Letts that Lisa seemed like an excellent match for the Horace Frick Academy. Letts revealed that he was a member of the school's board of trustees and assured her that he could secure her a spot, but Lisa had a lack of funds to pay $84,000 a year to attend. He then told Lisa it wasn't his problem and walked off to record it on his phone.
After receiving a check from Lacey Van Aster to get ready for school, Lisa was taken back to Julian, Katya, and Lars' loft to spend the night, where she noticed a photo of Martin Prince on the wall. Julian, the lead singer of The Inhuman Capotes, along with Tracy Letts, explained that every year they used a child to con money from Lacey Van Aster, who would make the checkout to them instead of the child. Lisa snatches the check and makes a run for it, only to realize she's being chased by the artists and an angry mob.
While Lisa was getting away from an angry mob, she got too tired to keep on going. Desperately, she threw down her backpack, pulled out the Apple Zoom box Marge had given her, and drank its contents. She then insults Tracy Letts and the other artists before getting away from them. Letts and the other artists continued chasing after Lisa who had hidden a deflated balloon of Joan Didion, until she accidentally pressed the inflate button and found herself perched on top of it as the artists closed in on her. After Julian insulted Katya over Lisa destroying a check, Katya pulls out a knife to cut the rope and free Lisa, eventfully allowing her to float back to Springfield, as Letts insults Katya.
