Death Tome[]

In a parody of Death Note, Lisa finds a book that is labeled "Death Tome." Inside, it says that if a name is written in the book, then that person will die, but with the stipulation that every name must have a unique death and those deaths cannot repeat. After arriving home, a news report shows Snake Jailbird about to shoot a cat. Lisa writes his name in the book, where upon he dies. Realizing her newfound powers, she goes up to her room and contemplates her actions.

A Shinigami named Steve Johnson appears and tells Lisa she may use the Death Tome. After venturing downstairs, she sees Mr. Burns is over for dinner. He reveals his new company GLOBO-WARM, which plans to melt the icecaps so he "can park [his] new yacht right outside [his] kitchen." Lisa returns upstairs to write Mr. Burns's name in the book, much to the surprise of Steve who expected her to have more of a moral quandary. She writes for Mr. Burns to "die in his sleep," though his face falls onto a barbeque pit instead. Lisa is excited that since Mr. Burns is dead, GLOBO-WARM is no more. However, Steve informs Lisa that the company has a large Board of directors, and she will have to kill them all. A montage, similar in style to the source material, plays shows Lisa writing names and people dying in humorous ways.

The next day, after Lisa's killing spree, a news report says that the killings of the GLOBO-WARM executives were found to be murders, thanks to an anonymous tip from somebody going by "L." Lisa wonders how somebody could have known she had the Death Tome, whereupon she recognizes the L is from a graffiti that reads "El Barto." Bart then reveals that he learned of Lisa's Death Tome from her diary. Lisa, fearful that Bart will expose her, appears to write Bart's name in the book. However, it turns out that she wrote Steve Johnson's name, who is killed by space junk. She is excited about being free from the book, however she is then transformed into a Shinigami herself.

This segment is unique, as it was animated in an anime style.
