Treehouse of Horror XXXV, titled on-screen in Spanish as El Treehouse Del Horror XXXV, is the fifth episode of Season 36 as well as the thirty-fifth Treehouse of Horror episode, being the 773rd episode overall. It originally aired on November 3, 2024. The episode was written by Rob LaZebnik, Dan Vebber, and Matt Selman and directed by Timothy Bailey.

Plot[]
The Information Rage[]
During Quimby's meeting and the suggestion from Lisa, the town decides to deliver LED light bulbs to everyone. However, people start arguments over the political implications, and their anger leads to breaking open through the ocean floor. From the cracks, two kaiju beings, known as Red Monster and Blue Monster, each embodying the divergent perspectives that divide the townspeople. The monsters appear destroying buildings in the town. While the monsters are fighting each other, Professor Frink has an idea: he built the robot to fight these monsters that can work by two siblings.
Initially, causing confusion and arguments inside the robot, Lisa fatally crushed Otto by accident. Lisa finds it surprising that there are merely two monsters, given the world's descent into madness. Shortly, additional monsters, such as Four-chan Saurus, Facebookzilla, Mecha-Reddit, and Ro-Gan, appeared. After seeing the monsters make Homer roll away in a donut he's enjoying it, Bart and Lisa proceed to work together to take these monsters down, prompting the other monsters to flee. Upon these monster defeat, subsequently, they advise the residents of Springfield to remain calm and to cease using social media to prevent the resurgence of the monsters. However, three news cycles later, humanity has been destroyed by powerful monsters, leaving only Bart and Lisa on the destroyed robot, reflecting on how swiftly society collapsed because of the internet.
The Fall of the House of Monty[]
The workday at Burns & Excellent Corn Syrup factory has ended, but they must work on a project on Mr. Burns' mansion for night. The project has a long history; it was also a significant part of Lenny's father and grandfather lives, both of whom passed away during the construction. On Thanksgiving night, they must win a wishbone contest from Mr. Burns before they can have dinner. Willie wins a wishbone contest, but Mr. Burns dumps dinner into a hole, where Moe fall into his death. His ex-wife, Agnes, warns him that failing to keep his Thanksgiving vow has doomed him to be haunted by all those he has wronged until the end of his days.
Back at the factory, a famished Homer attempts to fill a cup with corn syrup, but inadvertently falls in and gets boiled alive in the container. He pulls on a chain and releases the stored syrup, which then sweeps away and kills all the workers. Before Mr. Burns went to bed; the ghost destroy his belongings. Mr. Burns awakens to find ghosts materializing in his mansion, delivering a fright. Ghost Moe shoves Mr. Burns off the balcony, and as he falls, he lands on Agnes, tragically resulting in crushed her death. As Mr. Burns attempts to escape from ghosts, they block his exits and eventually surround him. He tries to offer food to them, but they insist that only his soul will satisfy their hunger.
Ghost Agnes also appears, desperate to escape, with Mr. Burns inadvertently setting both himself and the entire mansion ablaze. Smithers and Sideshow Mel visit the destroyed mansion, wondering Mr. Burns' actions on the day after Thanksgiving. They resolve to name it "Black Friday", as a day of remembrance to not mistreat workers, regardless of how to make a good deal.
Denim[]
Homer and Barney are at The Generous Cut to buy jeans, hoping to make an impression on the waitress, Marge at Irv's Non-Canonical Diner. However, Homer is picking the pants no matter what he chooses, his luck with her will not change. Suddenly, an electrical anomaly occurs, and a zipper tear opens a rift from which a pair of jeans, named Denim. The jeans enters through the door to make their way to the dressing room, Homer finds they fit him like a glove. After putting them on, Homer proceeds to the diner.
Even as Homer continued to feel insecure, his pants seems to start giving him advice. When Snake enters and tries to rob the diner, Denim takes Homer's control to save Marge from armed robbery, kicking his gun away and strangles him to death. However, as the police arrive and are chasing after him, Homer and Denim make their escape. Denim introduces themselves to Homer to serve as its host, revealing that toxic rainfall on his home planet, Wrang-lor, has aged them, and now, within the human world, they require a human host to survive. Denim then takes Homer to the hot dog street vender to get a chili dog for Homer. Guided by Denim, Homer is dancing to make Marge's impression, and they spend an enjoyable evening at the apartment. However, they don't want to take their relationship to the next level because Denim isn't letting go of him. When Homer tries to tell more things to Marge, Denim takes him to leave for Moe's.
Denim asks Homer if Marge is trying to break them up, to get rid of them to move on, Homer drinking beer until pass out. Back at the apartment, Homer and Denim are passed out, Marge takes them out from Homer to wash them, but this action backfires when Denim, enraged, going after, trying to kill her. Homer grabs a lemon to blind them and releases Marge, stabbing it in his own leg. Denim is released from Homer and continues chasing after her to find a host until reaching Marge, going to the rooftop. Subsequently, Homer halts and considers choosing Denim over Marge but wanted to keep her alive. Back at the apartment again, Denim asks Homer if he would stop following her on Facebook, Homer couldn't lie and thanked for saving her life. In the end, a massive rift opens through space, and the raining down of Denims descends upon the planet.
