The Trucker 1 is one of the truckers who was seen at The Slaughterhouse. He was a friend of Red Barclay.
History
He, Red Barclay and one another unnamed trucker were eating together at the restaurant, when Homer challenged Red to an eating beef contest. Red won but suddenly died of beef poisoning, leaving behind a truckload of artichokes and migrant workers to be delivered to Atlanta. As Homer, Marge and the three truckers were standing outside the restaurant, mourning Red's death, the unnamed trucker put his hand on Red's truck and said that Red had never missed a shipment in 38 years. When Homer heard it, he decided to drive Red's truck to Atlanta.
