Uriah's Heap Recycling Center is a recycling center in Springfield.
History[]
The Junior Achievers students of Springfield Elementary School take their recyclables here. Unfortunately, despite getting six bags of recyclables, they only managed to get $.75, which according to Principal Skinner didn't even cover the twine for the newspapers or the gas he put into the car. This forced him to give up on a planned field trip to Albany.

Behind the laughter[]
- The name of the recycling center is a reference to the Burns-esque character Uriah Heep in Charles Dickens' novel David Copperfield, which is one of the books that Homer is seen bringing in to recycle.
