Here are the FXX Simpsons differences that I found in no particular order. I haven't found all of them yet, but If I find them all, I might make a new article listing all of the FXX differences. Again, these are all the FXX changes that I found so far. This will be updated regularly as I find new differences.

All episodes

  • All of the episodes, including the first 429, are broadcasted in widescreen 16:9 format; on FXNOW, users can watch them in either 16:9 or, for the first 429 episodes, 4:3.
  • All of the episodes, when broadcasted and streamed online, are remastered and color-corrected from their original negative films.
  • The first 429 episodes, just like in the pre-FXX reruns of those episodes, start the episode immediately after the opening sequence (similar to the HD episodes), which only happens on Monday-Friday reruns. But, on Sunday reruns and in marathons, the episodes cut to black for commercial after the intro, just like the original Fox airings.
  • Before the Gracie Films logo on all episodes, the Spanish dub end credits are shown after the "Executive Creative Consultant: James L. Brooks" credit, because FXX simulcasts Simpsons episodes in both English and Spanish.
  • Instead of either the 2007-present widescreen 20th Century Fox Television logo (for episodes 430 through present in original run), the 1995-2007 TCFTV logo (for episodes 125 through 394 in original run; also seen in syndication), the fullscreen 2007-present TCFTV logo (for episodes 395 through 429 in original run), the 1992-2008 20th Television logo (for episodes 60 through 124; sometimes in syndication), or the 1981-1992 20th Television Fox logo (for episodes 1 through 68 in original run), the 2013 bylineless TTV logo with the 2008 theme is seen at the end of FXX's reruns of all episodes.
  • For the first 429 episodes, instead of the 1987-2009 Gracie Films logo, the 2009-present Gracie Films logo is seen before the 2013 bylineless TTV logo at the end of FXX's reruns of the first 429 episodes.
  • For the first 141 episodes, the white opening credits (that are superimposed over the first scene of each episode) has the newly modified font (which has been permamently used in both the opening and end credits since Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield, but was starting use in early Season 7) instead of the old font (which was regularly used for episodes 1 through 141).
  • For both of FXX's Every.Simpsons.Ever. marathons (2014 and 2016) and Sunday reruns, all of the episodes retain their original content from their original/premiere airings.
  • However, for FXX's non-marathon reruns of episodes (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday), they cut out a few stuff in most episodes (as described here), while a few episodes are in full with no cuts.
  • For FXX's Every.Simpsons.Ever. 2014 marathon, the first 552 episodes are shown in full. However, for FXX's Every.Simpsons.Ever. 2016 marathon, the first 600 episodes are shown in full. This is due to a 48 episode increase between the 2014 marathon and the 2016 marathon.

The Monkey Suit

  • Like in Fox syndication, the scene with Homer and the bulletproof vests is cut.

Blood Feud

  • The second version of the condensed opening sequence is used alongside Danny Elfman's rearrangement, the chalkboard and Lisa's sax solo. This is one of the Season 2 episodes to use the second condensed opening on FXX reruns.
  • Like in Fox syndication, the scene where Lisa indicates a hump and a dewlap to Maggie is cut, along with Marge's "Hmmm..." she makes right after.
  • Like in Fox syndication, the scene where Lisa is teaching Maggie what a dodecahedron is while Homer is on the couch is cut.
  • Unfortunately, like in Fox syndication, the "Mike Rotch" prank call at Moe's Tavern is cut.
  • Like in Fox syndication, the scene where Mr. Burns and Smithers are playing pool while visiting Wicked Excess is cut.

Homer Simpson, This Is Your Wife

  • The original live-action opening is not used.
  • The chalkboard gag is "I will not laminate dog doo" rather than the original "I will not eat things for money", like in Fox syndication.
  • The Kebab Grill couch gag is used, like in Fox syndication.
  • During Act 1, after the "Three days later" caption, Homer watching a nature show about sharks in Lenny's apartment on Lenny's new TV and changing to Two and a Half Men afterwards is kept in (unlike in Fox syndication). However, Homer's line "You can see the soulless emptiness in Charlie Sheen's eyes!" is removed.
  • Unlike in Fox syndication, the scene with Homer and the Dan Castellaneta character during the FOX studio tour scene is kept in.
  • Like in Fox syndication, the last scene has the parents' bedroom dark and Homer bobbing up and down.

Homerazzi

  • Unlike in Fox syndication, in Act 1, the Editor's line "This is good, real good, like Lindsay Lohan lookin' drunk, high and bony. Click click, career over, seeya in the gutter, freckles!" is kept in, along with the music continuing, which doesn't fade sharply, thus making FXX reruns remove the crappy-sounding cut that was seen in Fox syndication.

  • Like in Fox syndication, in Act 2, right after Lisa says "Hello, smiley faaace!" a second time, her "wehh" is played along with the repeated waving.
  • Like in Fox syndication, in Act 2, Marge says "Jenny, it's ama" over the shot of Lisa's Ignorital-induced POV of Bart and Jenny, and Marge continues her line when the previous shot cuts to the shot of her, Homer, Bart and Jenny.
