Violet Bazaar (Born c. 1979-1980) is a girl in Bart's 4th grade class at Springfield Elementary School, she is also the daughter of Pomona Bazaar and Walter Bazaar, she is the younger sister to Alberta and Hazel Bazaar. She is a fourth cousin to Bart, Lisa and Maggie, and a third cousin once removed to Homer.

History

She is first seen in the school's Christmas pageant, singing Jingle Bells. She later goes on an excursion to Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, to see Homer get fired by Sherri and Terri's father. She is part of the Future Photographers of America, along with Adrian Belew, and begs Bart for a copy of his photo of Homer dancing with Princess Kashmir, but he says no. She also plays the timpani in the Springfield Elementary School Band.

Behind the Laughter

• In her very first appearance her hair was blonde but in the rest of the series her hair is blue. Her design has been reused for some characters in the early seasons such as Maria Dominguez. As of 2025, she hasn't been seen since Season 17.
• Its unknown if Bart is aware of his fourth cousin being in his own class, this is very unlikely though.
• Her name is never given in the show, but in The Simpsons Uncensored Family Album, she appears on the family tree as ‘Violet Bazaar’, and as Bart’s fourth cousin.
