Walter Hotenhoffer is a German doctor who owns Hotenhoffer Pharmaceuticals.
History
He created a drug using the water from the Silvertongue, that made old people less cranky. However it had the side effect of making their eyes pop out of their sockets. After seeing this effect he promised to stop production of the drug.
He used to be Augustus Gloop before apparently changing both his name and his gluttonous personality for the better, though he still has nightmares about being sucked up into the chocolate tube in Wonka's factory.[1]
