Warren is an astronomer at the Springfield Observatory. When Seymour Skinner calls the Observatory about a celestial body he may have discovered, he sets the coordinates. He does the same when Bart Simpson discovers the comet, which he later looks at through the telescope. The other astronomer at the Observatory lectures him about hogging the telescope.
