Warrin' Priests (Part One) is the nineteenth episode of Season 31. It is the third two-part episode of the series, after "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" and "The Great Phatsby". This episode had the worst viewership ratings in the history of the show, to date.

Synopsis[]

When Bode, a young charismatic new preacher, comes to town and shakes things up at church. While many people take a liking to Bode Ned Flanders views the new priest as evil just because his preachings are different. Lisa also starts to really see Bode as a role model especially since he helps all people regardless of their religion, even Marge and Homer have their issues resolved. Eventually the church dismisses Revered Lovejoy from his service and is unemployed. However after learning that Bode was actually sent away, Reverend Lovejoy and Helen leave to investigates Bode's mysterious past.
