Warrin' Priests (Part One)
Warrin' Priests (Part Two)
The Hateful Eight-Year-Olds

I know this is a weird thing to say in church, but we need proof!
Luann Van Houten

"Warrin' Priests (Part Two)" is the twentieth episode of Season 31.

Synopsis[]

In Michigan, Reverend Lovejoy uncovers the reason why Bode left and came to Springfield. When the congregation learns of his crime, they must decide whether to banish their new priest. Meanwhile Flanders is getting fed up with Bode's preaching methods but Lisa starts to see Bode as a great idol (Marge does remind Lisa that almost every time Lisa has had an adult influence, it doesn't really end well).

Plot[]

Kent Brockman recaps about how Bode came to Springfield, and how Reverend Lovejoy was fired. Lovejoy then goes to Michigan to get the dirt on Bode. Back at Springfield, everybody loved the new reverend, Bode Wright. Everybody but Ned Flanders, who believes that the church had changed into a “gooey love fest” run by a “narcissistic kum bah yo yo”.
