Waverly Hills is an upper-class district of Springfield. Waverly Hills has an upscale elementary school district that Bart and Lisa attended for a time. Homer also had to live in an apartment in the worse side of Waverly Hills (since it was one of the few places he could both afford to rent and place Bart and Lisa at the school at the same time). Most residents of Waverly Hills seem to be relatively well-off, even though there are a few exceptions such as persons residing in the Royal Waverly apartments. Among other things, a remarkable number of the district's children are fans of 16-year old singer/actress Alaska Nebraska.
