Cultural References

  • The episode name is a reference to a "Peeping Tom", a name for a male voyeur.
  • There is a brief appearance from the Amphibian Man (holding an Oscar trophy) from the 2017 Guillermo del Toro movie The Shape of Water that is hiding under Lisa's floorboards. 
  • The song Glamazon performed by Queen Chante is a parody of RuPaul's own song named Glamazon.

Trivia

  • This episode is dedicated to the memory of the late Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee who died on November 12, 2018, six days before this episode aired. Lee previously voiced himself in the Season 13 episode I Am Furious (Yellow) and the Season 25 episode Married to the Blob as well as a couch gag scene used in the Season 28 episode The Caper Chase.
  • During the rerun on July 28, 2019, another dedication was made in the memory of Russi Taylor, one of the long-running original voice actors of the series who died two days earlier. Taylor did the voices for numerous characters over the course of the series notably Martin Prince, Sherri and Terri, and Üter Zörker.
