As Barney Gumble approaches Moe's Tavern, he notices that it is closed for a meeting. A tear falls from Barney's face as he tries to look in the window. Moe Szyslak is holding a meeting to discuss how sales for mom and pop bars have been low. Moe proposes a superhero themed pub crawl. Homer Simpson and his friends join in the bar hopping. Meanwhile, Bart feels smothered by his art teacher named Evelyn Trunch, who sees something very positive in all of her students' art, which she praises enthusiastically. However, Bart cannot stand his teachers praises and wants to get rid of Evelyn. At Shauna Chalmers advice, Bart goes to a voodoo queen, and she sells him some materials to cast a spell on Evelyn giving her a stomach ache. When Bart tells everyone what he did to Miss Trunch, he says they won't being seeing for a while but Evelyn still shows up to class anyway, surprising Bart. Evelyn exclaims that she cannot teach today because of a "special" tummy ache, se says with enthusiasm, "I'm going to have a baby!" Upon hearing this, Ralph Wiggum runs outside and announces, "Bart Simpson got a teacher pregnant!" Lisa and the other students are in disbelief since Ralph says crazy stuff all the time but when Milhouse announces it, everyone is listening. In the principal's office Bart admits to making a voodoo doll of Ms Trunch, but he only meant to give her a stomach ache not get her pregnant. Skinner, who doesn't believe in voodoo magic himself, tells Bart it wasn't him that did it. Bart then asks how it happened but Skinner tells him that until 5th grade Bart is not going to learn about that. Homer picks his son up complaining how embarrassing it is to get a call about Bart's bad news during his arraignment.

When a couple approaches Bart about his baby-making skills, Bart utilizes his voodoo magic. The spell works, and the couple returns to ask Bart if he could they could give their friends, who are in the same dark place they were, Bart's name. Bart demands his payment if they want their driver license back. Soon Bart starts a voodoo baby business which Homer soon finds out about and is furious to hear. Homer takes Bart to Moe's to discuss Bart's problems, but Louie and Legs come into the bar and kidnap Homer and Bart. Moe aims a gun at the mobsters because he does not want them to take his paying customers, but Homer reveals that he does not have any cash on him. Moe then lets the mafia kidnap Homer and Bart.

Homer initially thinks that Fit-Fat Tony ordered the kidnapping so that Bart can work his baby magic for Fit-Fat Tony, but it turns out that Fit-Fat Tony wants Bart's skills to work on his horses. Not only does Fit-Fat Tony want his horses to breed, but he demands a male horse. As it turns out Fit-Fat Tony is trying to breed a prize winning race horse with his mare Applesauce and has the winning horse with him. Nonetheless, the stallion turns out to like playing "It's Raining Men" than making babies with the mare. The mare then mates with another stallion named Sudsley Brew-Right who was one of Duff beers horses. and after a song number the two horses come together. The next day, the pregnancy test comes back positive, as well as later revealing to be, indeed, a newborn male horse but Fit-Fat Tony is furious that it was not a race horse.
