"Who Shot Mr. Burns?" is a two-part episode originally entirely produced for Season 6 of The Simpsons, but the second part was moved over to Season 7 for broadcasting reasons. It is the first double-length episode of The Simpsons (not counting the "Maggie in Peril" storyline from the Tracey Ullman shorts).
