Captain William Bligh was the real world commanding officer, and a captain in the non-canon episode The Wettest Stories Ever Told, where he commands the ship “Bounty” and leads Bart and Lisa Simpson, along with the rest of the students at Springfield Elementary School, his first mate is William MacDougal.
History[]
When on the trip with the students on the Bounty, he was abusive and rude to them, they hated him, at an unknown part of the trip, Martha Prince suggested they make a box for suggestions, and instead of simply making the box, he decapitated Martin, and turned his head into the suggestion box, he eventually decided to give his crew a vacation to Tahiti, it was exiting and fun, and when he had his crew leave Tahiti he made them forget it, William MacDougal warned him for a second time the crew will mutiny if he kept abusing the crew, Bligh just laughed, and called to crew cowardly and can’t mutiny, and when he went to look at the crew again, and noticed they all were armed with weapons, they told him they were going to mutiny. He then was forced to leave into a small boat along with his first mate, Bligh told him to sing a round, despite being only one man, after telling Bligh he cannot mutiny, Bligh says he’s a coward, and cannot mutiny, moments later Bligh appears on a turtle because William MacDougal had a mutiny, Bligh then makes fun of the turtle, and the turtle goes underwater Bligh on his back, Bligh replies by saying “You call this deep?” Before presumably drowning.
Trivia[]
