It's success nearly caused financial ruin for Krusty Burger before the franchise failed due to them using endangered Amazon Rainforest plants to make their burgers.
Lisa Simpson was a fan of their meat-free burgers due to their great taste before learning the truth of their production, which then made her determined to have the food joint shut down.
During its active period, Mr Burns had (temporarily) earned a place in the "Beloved Billionaires Club" (which had previously rejected him many times). However, he was happy after the failed launch as he didn't plan on doing more good deeds to retain his beloved status + could return to evil.
It's spokesman was Homer Simpson; Marge Simpson was one of the shareholders (she sold her shares before the stock crashed).
