~ Yuma's only quote |
Yuma Simpson (née Hickman) was Orville Simpson's wife, Abraham Simpson's mother, Mona Simpson's ex-mother-in-law, Homer Simpson's paternal grandmother, Marge Simpson's grandmother-in-law, and Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson's paternal great-grandmother[1] who was apparently from "The Old Country".
History[]
Yuma Simpson was born to Willard Hickman and Theodora Hickman. Yuma married Orville Simpson.[1] They had at least twelve[2] children, including Hubert, Tyrone, Cyrus, Abraham, Bill, Fester, Chet and Hortense. The family emigrated to the USA when Abraham was a young child, and for a few years, they lived inside the Statue of Liberty until the head of it was filled with too much garbage.[3] Later, the family would move to Springfield, USA.
Behind the Laughter[]
Her name was revealed in The Simpsons Uncensored Family Album, but it was never mentioned in the series proper.
